Description
The drive voltage range of this stacked piezo actuator is 0 to 75V. And its free travel displacement is from 4.5μm to 43.8μm. The max thrust force is from 360N to 1000N. This discrete square PZT stack uses multilayer 75V piezoelectric chips. There are two wires connecting the electrodes. Red is the positive electrode, and black is the negative electrode. Wire length is 75mm.
This 75 volt piezoelectric stack driver is with flat end plates. Of course, there are also the 75v PZT actuator with hemispheric end. Special custom options is available. Welcome to contact us. Precautions for using a 75V multilayer piezo stack:
① The red wire of stacked piezo actuator is the positive terminal. The black wire is the negative terminal for grounding. Do not reverse them. Otherwise, mechanical failure will occur.
② Sometimes, it is necessary to re-connect the wires to the actuator electrodes. The soldering temperature used must not exceed 370℃ (700°F). Besides, the contact time for each solder joint should not exceed 2 seconds. At the same time, solder the leads to the center of the electrodes.
③ It is recommended to apply an external load to the 75V piezoelectric stack. We should apply the load to the center of the stack mounting area. Or distribute the load as evenly as possible on the mounting surface. Ensure that the two surfaces in contact with PZT stack are perfectly flat and smooth. This 75 volt piezo stack driver can only withstand axial forces. Shear or torsional forces may cause mechanical failure.
④ The storage temperature of multilayer piezo actuator should be below 80℃. And humidity should be below 50%.
⑤ Do not immerse the piezo ceramic stack in organic solvents. Also, keep it away from flammable gases or liquids.
