Description
Our lead free piezo disc uses the BaTiO3 ceramic. That is the barium titanate piezoelectric crystal material. Lead-free piezoceramics are different from traditional PZT materials. The latter is lead zirconate titanate. There is lead element in the material. Obviously the batio3 piezo ceramic is more eco-friendly.
This BaTiO3 piezo disc diameter is 38.1mm. Its frequency is 200khz. It is capable of accurately detecting and converting physical energy. Lead-free piezoelectric ceramics have been used in a wide range of sensor technologies, such as pressure, vibration, etc. In addition, we also usually apply BaTiO3 ceramic disks to medical and acoustic devices.
Product parameters of our lead free piezo disc:
Piezo ceramic material type | BaTiO3 barium titanate |
BaTiO3 piezo disk diameter | Ø38.1mm ± 0.762mm |
Disc frequency | 200KHz |
Capacitance (pF) | 875 ± 20% |
Dielectric Loss (tgδ) (1v, KHz) | ≤0.7% |
Resonat Impedance (Ω) | ≤35 |
Electromechanical Coupling Factor (Kt) | ≥0.30 |
Features of BaTiO3 piezo electric ceramic:
① First of all, it has the characteristic of lead-free environmental protection. It will not affect the environment during production and use.
② Secondly, barium titanate material has excellent piezoelectric effect. It has low dielectric loss. Besides, the Qm value is big. Therefore, the mechanical loss is small.
③ And its stability of BaTiO3 piezo ceramic is strong. Chemical, mechanical and environmental stability are greatly improved.
④ In addition, lead free piezoelectric ceramics have very high sound velocity. So it can ensure good performance of acoustic devices.
Of course, lead free piezo disc also has some disadvantages. Its curie temperature point is lower than PZT ceramics.
