Description
This 10mm piezo disc uses the soft PZT-5 crystal material. Its thickness is 2mm. So we can know the resonant frequency is 1MHz. Our factory provides two basic electrode types. One is wrap-around electrode. The other is the standard type. In addition, this piezoelectric ceramic transducer disk is thickness direction poling.
Because this pzt disc frequency is 1mhz, we usually use it to measure liquid level and flow rate. So you can use it to make the ultrasonic level sensors and flow meters. And it can act as the element for ultrasonic flaw detection probes. Additionally, this piezo disc crystal is also applicable for beauty and medical devices.

How to know the static voltage of this 10*2mm 1Mhz pzt piezoelectric ceramic disc?
Sometimes we want to know how many voltages will be generated by applying a certain force to piezo disc. Firstly, it needs to know the voltage calculation formula: Static Voltage = V = (g33*F3*h)/Πr².
Notes.
Calculate the voltage at the thickness vibration mode.
g33: Piezoelectric constant in ‘10^-3 Vm/N’; F3: Force in ‘N’.
F3: Force in ‘N’.
h: height in ‘mm’ (thickness)
r: radius in ‘mm’.
Π: it is π (≈3.14)
Here the piezo ceramic material is PZT-52. So g33 value is 24.5 (10^-3 Vm/N) (Refer to piezoelectric ceramic material properties table). Suppose we apply a force of 20N to this PZT disk. So we calculate the voltage = [24.5 (10^-3 Vm/N) *20N * 2mm] / 3.14 * (5mm)² = [24.5 (10^-3 V*1000mm/N) *20N * 2mm] / 3.14 * (5mm)²≈ 12.48V.
In summary, when applying a force of 20N to this 10mm piezo disc, it will generate a voltage of about 12.48V.
Why choose our PZT ceramic disk?
Both two electrode types are available;
Good performance consistency of piezoelectric ceramic disk;
Custom services available, e.g. soldering wires;
Multiple frequencies can be supplied except 1mhz;
Cheap price and support small orders;
This 10mm piezoelectric ceramic disc is in stock. So we can send out the materials fast.
Applications of the 10mm 1mhz piezo ceramic disc are as follows: ultrasonic liquid level sensors, water / gas flow meter, UT transducer, medical and beauty transducers, ultrasonic underwater range finder, etc.
